Branded slaves?

Can someone please turn Russell Brand off? Headlines a personal comment 'article' by Gareth Platt in the IBT

If we really want to turn someone 'off' we give our attention elsewhere - or if it is simply a behaviour and reaction in ourself we want to change - we can perhaps engage a process of communication within ourself and perhaps with the other.

The idea of turning off what one doesn't want and turning on what one does is properly the job of making conscious choices from a connected sense of true being and not a reactive attempt to validate or escape a sense of being fearfully or falsely defined.

Anyway - here's what I wrote in the comment box :

No one can or ever will, represent me - but me. However, in EVERY one I meet I may find facets, attributes of idea and behaviour that resonate with me both positively and negatively, and I may choose to use either of these to obtain a positive result by the purpose I accept and use them for.

The subjection of communication to  'correctness' or vilification and invalidation, operates a 'war' of denial upon communication. The basis of this 'war' is called lie, propaganda, deceit, vanity, arrogance - do you get what I am saying? That Communication of a true nature is a complete kit - for everything true will manifest from it and only a the assertion, allegiance and identification with un-truth can interject the confusion and division of a personal war to determine truth as power to invalidate others.

But truth that can be used as a weapon in hate and fear is not true - regardless its original source and context. The 'devil' quotes Scripture. Our minds at the persona level are masks within a game of powers that goes nowhere in self destructive vanities and arrogances.

The nature of the personae becomes the screen of diversion from the actual issues being met, faced or suffered.

So it is perhaps ironic that Mr Brand - what an apt name! - is branding himself as a spokesperson for speaking out against the unnacceptable facade that is progressively mind-manipulated and 'normalised' by establishment media, politicians and corporate and financial vested interests. Accepting the unacceptable is an exercise in displacement or mind-splitting. No matter how ingeniously the mind personifies itself in order to project and redistribute fear and guilt, such only operates a false basis truly experienced.

Focussing on the personal is choosing to keep the problem hidden and largely redefined and diversioned. Focussing on the underlying issue always identifies definition and belief in consciousness that is out of true. Holding this in the light of awareness INSTEAD of using it for personal attack or self or other invalidation of blame or shame DOES open a shifted perspective - a more UNIFIED and communicating perspective - a less 'split off' and wilful or unwilling defendedness. And so I recomend it.

Our society has branded its mind into mindshare under obeisance to a mind-manipulative 'power' to get. Be it consumer or corporation - the operative to get operates the propaganda of lovelessness or disconnected attemp to 'get' life from others instead of growing and sharing in the Life That Is.

Using what is wrong with externals or others to assert a self-righteousness asserts a hidden anti-Life agenda of deceit, vanity and arrogance that always becomes the very thing it hates - for that has driven it all along.

Branded slaves lose the power to speak or even think along any lines but those their master imprints upon them. Letting Mr Brand iconify freedom of speech and thought may herd a significant mindshare into a managed resistance that can be turned to whatever use the masters want. But resonating with freedom of speech within one's own heart and mind can and does uncover a true basis from which to extend a presence of communication that does not play into the mind-games of attempting to be or accepting role of the master of another - even for apparently good causes.

"For though the rules of the road have been lodged, it's only people's games, you gotta dodge" Sang Bob Dylan. But actually it is one's OWN that one has to identify and align or drop. Wherever information comes from that is relevant and resonant to who and what you truly are - pay attention. It is for you.
